Some Interesting Facts About Lee Ji Ah’s Family

Lee Ji Ah

Ever since Lee Ji Ah’s relationship with Seo Taiji was made public last April, many fans and press have tried to dig up more facts about this enigmatic woman, who rarely went public with her personal background.

On December 19, local media revealed some interesting facts about Lee Ji Ah’s family background, which largely remained unknown until now. It turns out her grandfather was a business tycoon that made huge contributions in the educational field, with strong connections to politicians as well.

“It is true that Lee Ji Ah is the granddaughter of the late Kim Soon Heung, and he did donate his own land to the Seoul Arts High School,” Key East Entertainment told local media.

According to Chung Dae Chul, a former lawmaker and close friend of Kim Soon Heung, Lee Ji Ah comes from an affluent family background that was wealthy even during the Japanese colonial period. They owned one of the two 6000 sq. ft. houses in the Sa Dae Moon area (the other house was owned by former Korean President Yoon Bo Sun). “Their wealth would be comparable to semi-conglomerate level,” he said.

Kim Soon Heung first made his fortune off his successful silk business. The business later grew huge, and after retirement, he spent the rest of his life on improving Korea’s educational system, as he served as the director of the prestigious Kyung Gi High School and donated land for the Seoul Arts High School.

“Most of the reports are true but we cannot tell you when Lee Ji Ah’s parents moved to the U.S. or how much fortune she personally owns since those are personal matters,” Key East said.Meanwhile, Lee Ji Ah has comeback through MBC drama “I’m a Flower, Too,” after her brief hiatus since the divorce scandal with Seo Taiji.

Britney Has A Ring Fit For A Princess

What do you tell the jewelry designer about Britney Spears when you are creating a custom-made engagement ring? In her new fiance’s case, you don’t talk about her being a “pop princess,” but rather his “everyday princess.”

Brit’s beau Jason Trawick went to celebrity jeweler Neil Lane to come up with the perfect ring for his bride-to-be. “Jason is a romantic,” Lane tells PEOPLE. “When I asked him to tell me about Britney and what the ring would represent to them so I could find inspiration, his response was always the same — she is his princess!”

After their conversation, Lane was hard at work coming up with the delicate design, which he created from scratch, of a tiara-motif sparkler with a round and perfect white diamond in a handmade platinum setting that “looks like a mini crown.” The jewelry designer added 90 small round diamonds around the eternity band. “Jason didn’t want an over-the-top ring with a giant stone,” adds Lane.
Lane and Trawick exchanged phone calls, text messages and emails over the past month about the ring, getting it fit for his “princess.” Once Spears and her main squeeze returned home from her Femme Fatale tour, Trawick stopped into Lane’s Los Angeles store to pick up the ring, which happened less than a week before he popped the question.

“He loved it,” Lane recalls. “The guy was so excited and nervous. At the end of the day, even with all the fame, he’s still a normal guy who was about to propose to the woman he loves. He’s deeply in love with her. Britney is his princess and he is her knight in shining armor. Jason’s protective of her. He adores her. Every good fairytale needs a princess, and now Britney has a ring fit for a princess!”

Believe It Or Not, Machine Gun Kelly Is Hottest Breakthrough MC Of 2011

Hate it or love it, the underdog is on top! Since he first began to make noise with his 2010 mixtape Lace Up, Machine Gun Kelly has worked his way into hip-hop's collective consciousness. It wasn't always pretty (see MGK's August flash-mob arrest or his tiff with Yelawolf), but it's always been passionate.

Now, thanks to that passion, Machine Gun Kelly can stand alone as MTV News' Hottest Breakthrough MC of 2011, it was revealed on "RapFix Live."

The competition was tough, and ever since the fan-driven Hottest Breakthrough poll opened on the RapFix blog last week, Kells was jockeying for the #1 position, fighting off Lil Twist and Mac Miller. A$AP Rocky, Future, French Montana, Freddie Gibbs, Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill and Roscoe Dash were also in contention, but in the end, it was MGK who held the crown after hundreds of thousands of votes were tallied. When all the math was complete, MGK finished with 44 percent of the vote.

Miller, whose Blue Slide Park debuted at #1 last month, was an early favorite. Twist, who finished in the #2 spot with 39 percent of the vote, proved to be MGK's most formidable competition, thanks to his die-hard fans, Young Money team and best friend Justin Bieber, who all tweeted in support.

In August, MGK appeared on "RapFix Live" and announced that he had signed with Diddy's storied Bad Boy label, but rather than try to force him into the marketplace before his time, it was decided that the record company would continue to grow Kells organically. One of the things that first impressed Puff was Kelly's dedicated fanbase, the same one that voted him the Hottest Breakthrough MC.

"He has just such a movement, just hundreds and thousands of loyal fans that came from the place he came from in different parts of the country,"Diddy gushed during that "RapFix Live" appearance. "He wasn't always the coolest kid in school, and just the process of growing up and the problems that they all encounter, they relate to him in such a way."

Influenced by DMX, Cleveland's Machine Gun Kelly began battle-rapping around 2004 while he was still in high school. His passion grew from the corner ciphers to the studio, where he would lay tracks for his 2006 mixtape, Stamp of Approval. Back then, the MC (who got the Machine Gun part of his moniker because of his rapid-fire raps) was just getting his feet wet. In 2010, MGK would drop two mixtapes, 100 Words and Runnin' and, his most notable tape, Lace Up. From there, the energetic spitter would develop his following thanks to his spirited live performances.

From the very beginning of the competition, MGK had his eyes set on the #1 spot. "To be considered for the Hottest Breakthrough MC of 2011, it's obviously an honor, but I want to be the hottest. I've never been comfortable with sharing anything: I was a single child," Machine Gun Kelly said on "RapFix Live."
Congratulations, MGK!

Lady Gaga Light Up Z100 Jingle Ball

Without skipping a beat, Z100's annual Jingle Ball kicked off at exactly 7:30 p.m. Friday night to an arena full of screaming fans. The head-turning lineup featured Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson, LMFAO, Pitbull, Foster the People, Mindless Behavior, the Script, David Guetta, Gym Class Heroes and Lady Gaga, who brought some of the year's biggest hits to the Madison Square Garden stage.

ZI00's Elvis Duran and the Morning Crew personally came onstage to introduce the night's most-anticipated performance.

"Years ago, there was a young girl in the audience watching the Z100 Jingle Ball [and] she told her mom she wanted to be a singer," Duran said to the squealing concertgoers. "Three years ago, she opened up the show with her hit Just Dance. It gives me pleasure to say that a lifelong Z100 fan has now become one of the most important artists of our generation."

With the crowd chanting "Gaga," the New York City native opened with Edge of Glory. But in true Lady Gaga fashion, she didn't appear onstage right away. Instead, she emerged from a Christmas tree mid-song, decked out in a studded leather outfit. She then belted her way through "Bad Romance."

"When I was 11, I came to this very concert and told my mom I wanted to be a singer, and guys ... here I am," she said, launching into "Just Dance."

"Some people thought I was just going to be a one-hit wonder," Gaga continued as she moved on to mega-hits "Poker Face," "Telephone" and "Judas."

The pop diva then paid homage to the holidays with a naughty rendition of "White Christmas," gyrating her way across a holiday-themed set, complete with antlers, Christmas trees and lights.

Mother Monster danced through "Born This Way," before closing out the show with her latest, the Fernando Garibay-produced "Marry the Night", for which she channeled the video by changing into a a hospital gown and carting an IV stand onstage. As the song ended, fireworks went off and red confetti shot out all over the jubilant crowd.

Jingle Ball 2011's stellar lineup was more than just Gaga, of course.

During a short break in the show, fans took to their phones and begantweeting furiously in anticipation of another act: Demi Lovato. Finally, after what seemed like years in tween time, Big Time Rush introduced the 19-year-old, who took the stage looking classy in an all-black, gem-studded blazer.

Lovato, joined by her backup dancers, opened with "All Night Long," and followed up with her new single, Give Your Heart a Break, to the delight of screaming Lovatics. Demi turned serious, though, for her comeback ballad "Skyscraper," and the whole room sang along. She closed out her set by ripping off her blazer, all the better to shimmy to and sing the finale, "Unbroken."

"Thank you guys!" she told her adoring fans. "You all have been so amazing!"

Turns out Kelly Clarkson, who took it back with her massive uptempo hit "Since You Been Gone," is also a Lovatic. "I've been waiting for a long time to do a duet with Demi," Kelly said. "Wow, she can sing her butt off!" she added as Demi returned for the classic "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." Needless to say, the two power singers ... killed it. (Lovato has long cited Clarkson as an inspiration.)

Clarkson then switched gears, dipping into her latest album, Stronger, for the sassy "Mr. Know It All," and chart-toppers like "My Life Would Suck Without You."

Gym Class Heroes opened with their staple "Cupid's Chokehold," but the hip-hop/rock band also rolled out numbers from their new album, The Papercut Chronicles. They said goodbye with frontman Travie McCoy rapping his solo hit "Billionaire," as the crowd eagerly sang Bruno Mars' hook.

Reality star Khloe Kardashian was one of the night's guest hosts, and she told MTV News she has "a passion for music." Dressed in LMFAO-approved leopard tights, Kardashian introduced the electro-pop duo, who were short one party-rocker. "SkyBlu couldn't be here with us tonight because he hurt himself wiggling," RedFoo explained.

Although he was without his partner in crime, RedFoo held it down, kicking off with "Sorry for Party Rocking" as he danced with two giant plastic zebras in the background. Foo went on to perform "Shots Shots" and "I'm in Miami" (a New York version, of course). He finished up with explosive -- there were fireworks -- versions of the LMFAO hits "Party Rock Anthem" and "Sexy and I Know It," as fans wiggled in their seats.

Youtube sensations Karmin also performed -- but not onstage. They surprised everyone by rocking right in the crowd.

Kim Hee Chul Will Collaborate With An Underground Hip-hop Group?

It has been reported that Super Junior’s prettiest member, Kim Hee Chul will collaborate with an underground hip-hop group, Defconn. Such collaborations, where an idol member is working with a hardcore rap group, is the first in K-pop history. Their joint effort will be displayed through the song “King Wang Zzang”, set to release end of this month (11/30). Apparently Kim Hee Chul is not only featured in the number, but he also helped write the lyrics.

I’m not sure about anybody else, but I was dumbfounded when I first encountered the news and had to mull over it for a couple of days before writing about it. All snarky jokes and mean commentary aside, is Kim Hee Chul seriously suffering from a multiple personality disorder?

According to wikipedia, “[multiple personality disorder] diagnosis requires that at least two personalities routinely take control of the individual’s behavior.” Any K-pop fan would agree that Kim Hee Chul has at lest three distinct personalities that we are all familiar with.

It appears self-evident that Kim Hee Chul may be suffering from a multiple personality disorder. Despite that fact that seeking a shrink to relieve such psychological disorder is not the norm in Korea, I think we should all do Kim Hee Chul a favor and recommend the best shrink money can buy. Better yet, we should set up a donation fund so the boy can address these issues.

Trace Adkins Ready to Co-Host 2011

Trace Adkins says he expects nothing but smooth sailing and lots of fun when he co-hosts this year’s 2011 American Country Awards with Kristin Chenoweth, which will air live on FOX on Monday (Dec. 5) at 8PM ET.

Although Adkins was visibly nervous when he hosted last year’s inaugural fan-voted award show, he feels more in the groove this year. Not only is that because he has one hosting gig under his belt, but this year’s he been very involved in pre-production for the show. “Last year was the first time that I had ever done that,” he tells Billboard. “I had done a couple of CMT things before, but they were very controlled and very structured. I was very anxious and apprehensive coming into it, but after an hour or so, I thought ‘I can do this.’ I calmed down and settled into it. This year, it’s more of a sense of looking forward to doing it. I did have a lot of fun doing it.”

Although Adkins says he hasn’t worked with Chenoweth before, he thinks the pairing will be a good match, and somewhat comical, too, since she stands just under five feet tall and he reportedly stands about 6′ 6″ tall. “As far as I know, they’re not making any special provisions,” he says of the height difference. “Maybe somebody will have to carry around an apple box for her. I’ve seen her on television, and I’m aware of who she is. She’s very funny, very pretty, and very petite, so it would be a huge contrast.”

Toby Keith will perform the network debut of his song ‘Red Solo Cup‘ during the show. Other scheduled performers include Scotty McCreery, Blake Shelton, Pistol Annies, Thompson Square, Eli Young Band and the Band Perry.

As mentioned in the title, Girls’ Generation/So Nyuh Shi Dae/ Shoujo Jidai has been invited to 62nd edition of NHK’s Kōhaku! *insert applause here* Being invited to such a prestigious event is just another testament to their enormous popularity in Japan.

At the event, Sooyoung spoke about the upcoming event saying,She also mentioned that like their senior labelmates TVXQ and BoA who have attended this event before, Girls’ Generation would also like to put on a wonderful performance.

In wake of the devastating events that plagued Japan in 2011, this years “Kōhaku” will have an added theme of “Singing of Tomorrow“. The meaning behind the theme is to “connect everyone through the strength of music” and that “no matter the difficulty it can be overcome and tomorrow will arrive”.

Why SM Changed The Plan and Stick To One Large Group Of Nine Girls

So I watched Ellie’s vlog about how ‘SNSD should be 4 not 9‘. I love Ellie and her K-pop vlog, as Cindy said, she always has interesting take on K-pop — this one is no exception. I obviously love all the nine girls as one group, but even I once thought about how… ridiculous, for lack of better words, it was for having nine girls on one group. I mean, really, nine girls. Back then, all I can imagine was cat-fights, lots of it.

Ellie said about making a smaller group, actually that was SM Entertainment initial plan. On Ya Shim Man Man,Sooyoung revealed how they were supposed to debut under smaller group, but under a collective group of some sort — namely Yeoja Danchae. I guess it’s like how 2AM and 2PM are under OneDay. Or rather, like howSuper Junior has sub-units of Super Junior-M, Super Junior-Happy, Super Junior-T, and Super Junior-KRY.

I don’t know why SM changed the plan and stick to one large group of nine girls. People might say how SNSD would do better if they’re a smaller group and what not. But I have to disagree. I think one of their main charms is that they have nine members, with nine distinct charms and personalities. Plus, it’s not like SM put nine random girl-trainees into the group… these girls went through a lot of audition and performed in a lot of showcases to be a part of So Nyuh Shi Dae.

You guys might have heard how some celebrities said that they were supposed to be in SNSD. The most notable ones are prolly actress Lee Yeon-hee and girl-group member Park So-yeon of T-ara. Well, for Yeonhee and Soyeon’s case, apparently they really were a part of SNSD, sort of. I read this post about SNSD’s roster historyat SSF awhile ago, and I think today would be a nice time to look back at how SM Ent came up with the final line up of nine girls.

Henry Show “Strong Heart”

On March 1st, Super Junior-M’s Henry guested on SBS’s “Strong Heart“, and shared some hilarious stories about his first impressions of the Super Junior members.

When asked by the MCs to describe the experience, Henry replied, “Korean men easily put their arms around each other’s shoulders, as well as give light touches, but to foreigners, actions like that can be mistaken as gay.”

Henry revealed that when he first met the members, they greeted him by lightly hitting his butt. “I honestly thought they were all gay. I misunderstood Leeteuk, since he was the one who slapped my butt the most.”

But what surprised Henry the most was his encounter with the “Space Big Star”, Kim Hee Chul “His hair was long, like a girl’s, and he was so pretty, so I thought he was a transgender at first.”

Hilariously, Henry wasn’t alone when it came down to culture shock; Eunhyuk revealed that he was equally shocked when Henry began calling SM Entertainment’s Lee Soo Man, ‘Mr. Lee’.

Henry clarified, “I didn’t know who he was at first, and someone told me that he was SM’s boss. I just greeted him by saying, ‘Hey, Mr. Lee.’ I told him that I’d contact him if he gave me his business card.”

Eunhyuk added, “Henry still calls him ‘Mr. Lee.’” When asked how Lee Soo Man responded, Eunhyuk replied, “He accepts it since we’re all friends.”

The most famous name Lady Gaga was born in March 1986. Her name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta but she became famous by her stage name Lady Gaga. Gaga has starts her career as a song writer and very soon her diverting voice very legendary.

As well her career in music, Gaga has enhanced her collection as a philanthropist who has contributed to various charities and humanitarianism works.I am pretty excited and waiting anxiously to see her in new dressing as we were amongst the expert admirer of her previous dressing style. Gaga wearing a plastic bubble dress while performing on The Fame Ball Tour.

As we all know gaga wearing dresses obviously senseless, illogical or untrue one after another. Lady Gaga fashion choice is bold not usual, risky and always questionable. It is this out of the bag dressing sense that has led to the internet rumors of Lady Gaga as a cross dresser.

April Kiss remained very professional

April Kiss already had a handful of netizens breathing down their back when they claimed themselves to be the “female 2PM”, but the hate seemed to grow in ten folds after releasing a greeting that fans found as “plagiarizing off Block B.”
It seems like the troubles would never end for April Kiss.

Although it’s been announced that April Kiss will be changing their greeting, their previous greeting of “Your Wannabe” gained many antis because of the fact that is sounded too similar to Block B’s “Do you wanna be” - only adding to the stack of antis consisting of many Hottests. (2PM fans)

April Kiss remained very professional and mature about the incidents, however, and responded with, “We thought that we should do better. We’re currently in the middle of coming up with a new greeting, so please look forward it.”

Do you guys think April Kiss deserves the hate?

Gwen Stefani and Son Zuma Get a Kick Out of London

I didn't think it was possible for another kid to be as cute as Kingston Rossdale, but Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale's 3-year-old son Zuma is just as adorable as his big brother, who is now 5.
On Monday, the "Hollaback Girl" singer was snapped hanging with her precious blond boy at a London park. Gwen looked stylish as always in a black-and-white ensemble, which she accessorized with a pair of teal sunglasses and her signature ruby red lips, while Zuma kept things casual in a comfy red hooded sweatshirt and Nike sneakers, perfect for kicking around his soccer ball.

Although Gwen's hubby Gavin is currently touring with his band Bush in the States, she and their two sons have been spending some time across the pond in his native England. (In addition to their house in Los Angeles, the couple also owns a residence in the charming London neighborhood of Primrose Hill. Lucky!)
But Gwen will probably be heading back to the U.S. soon as her new Harajuku Mini line for Target launches on November 13. Think Kingston and Zuma will be modeling the children's collection?

JYJ’s Yoochun shocks with his photoshoot for ‘High Cut’ magazine

JYJ‘s Yoochunhas jaws dropping over his shocking transformation for the recent photoshoot for ‘High Cut‘ Magazine.
The singer tossed aside the prince-like image we’re normally familiar with to showcase a tough, masculine side. Ditching his normally gentle expressions, Yoochun exudes a fierce bad-boy charisma. He effortlessly pulled off the ‘rough edge’ look with the ensembles of black and white as well as through his expressions and poses.
This edition of ‘High Cut’ will be released on November 3rd.
Check out more photos below!

SHINee has been invited to be the opening act at London’s Korean Film Festival to take place at Odeon West End Theater on November 3rd, and will also be performing their ‘SHINee in London‘ concert.
This will be the first time that a Korean artist will be holding an independent concert in London, and tickets for the show were sold out within a minute after going on sale at 1:00PM on the 27th. There was so much demand that the servers began to crash immediately after the tickets were up for sale. The sales site for London’s largest theater, Odeon, was down for five hours. It was also impossible to purchase theater tickets on the numerous other sites that were selling the theater tickets online. Fans began calling in over the phone to obtain their tickets, as well as going to the theater in person to try and purchase their tickets.
A representative from Odeon remarked, “This is the first time our server went down. We didn’t know so many people would try to purchase the tickets all at once.” Odeon Theater will be enforcing heavy security the day of the event for the safety of the fans and SHINee themselves.
The SHINee boys will be traveling to London on the 1st, and will be performing their hit songs such as “Noona so pretty“, “Juliet“, “Lucifer“, “Ring Ding Dong“, and more.

2NE1′s “Hate You” Music Video

2NE1‘s MV for “Hate You” is creating some controversy in Japan, as some in the Japanese media have asserted that the MV is anti-Japanese.
‘RocketNews24‘ in Japan stated, “K-pop group 2NE1′s animation MV is creating quite the buzz among the public who are arguing that the MV is anti-Japanese“, and that “the MV starts out with an exploding nuclear reactor, and an ‘monster’with a red dot on it’s forehead (representing the Japanese flag) is killed and done away with.”
Anti-fans argue that the nuclear explosive highly resembles the Fukushima Daiichi, the nuclear power plant which was made inactive after the tragic earthquakes and tsunami in March, and that the monster representing Japan was portrayed as inferior, being easily slayed.
The press also delivered the news that netizens were wildly commenting on the video clip with many negative comments on Youtube. Netizens voiced their opinions, and most felt that as long as the Japanese continue to feel that the MV is anti-Japanese, the girls will soon be unable to continue their promotions in Japan.
As the media continues to blow up the story, there are some Japanese citizens who are spreading their anti Hallyu sentiments.

Wonder Girls‘ comeback has been out

News of the Wonder Girls‘ comeback has been out for months now, but until now there has been no official date. Today, all that has changed as the girls have finally just confirmed an official comeback date!
Digital music distributors revealed, “The Wonder Girls’ second official album will be available starting November 7th.”
The confirmation has music fans wondering how they’ll fare against SNSD, who recently made their comeback with their third album, ‘The Boys‘. They’ve already begun their performances, which leaves roughly three weeks of room between the two comebacks. Fortunately, it’s enough time to see some friendly competition between the two groups.
The Wonder Girls will only be promoting for a month, however, before they prepare for their Asian promotion tour in December. The girls will also be returning to the States in time for the release of their movie, ‘The Wonder Girls at the Apollo‘.

“The Boys” on ‘Music Bank’

After a long year away, SNSD is finally back with a new song called “The Boys” and they’ve brought a fierce new image with them!
The girls dished out a confident swagger in their performance that drew full-out screams from the audience. In an earlier interview, Sooyoung explained the key point in their choreography, saying,“We tried hard to make [the dance] match the song, however, it’s not as aggressive or powerful as we thought initially. The ‘going down’ movement during the rap portion came about because there needed to be an impact at that point. The choreography team was trying to decide whether or not to include that move, but we insisted that we’d do it. They asked if it would be okay to just have 4 of the members do it, but all the members stated that they wanted to do it.”
Looks like the girls managed to bring down the house with them. Check out SNSD’s comeback stage below, which also includes a performance of “Mr. Taxi“!

KARA in extended Radio Star corner

MBC ‘s variety program ‘Golden Fishery’ will be airing their first episode on October 19th without the ‘Lap Guru‘ corner previously run by MC Kang Ho Dong. Instead, the ‘Lap Guru’ corner will be replaced with a new and improved ‘Radio Star‘.
‘Radio Star’, which was a 20-minute corner on the show, has been extended to a full 70 minutes. PD Park Jung Kyu informed SportsKorea, “We have already finished filming and trying to create something new now would be nearly impossible. We are working to edit the original corner and create something fun.”
‘Radio Star’ was originally scheduled to be divided into two segments because they ruled that 70 minutes was too long for 3-4 guests to simply discuss music with four MCs.
Girl group KARA will feature on the episode to air on the 19th, and Goo Hara discusses an episode that took place between her and her boyfriend, B2ST‘s Junhyung, as well as some heart-breaking behind-the-scenes stories.

Wonder Girls‘ preparations

With their comeback just around the corner, JYP Entertainment recently shed light on the Wonder Girls‘ preparations for their upcoming album and their thoughts on competing against SNSD.
JYP Entertainment stated on October 17th, “It’d be a lie if we said we’re not stressing over SNSD’s comeback. But because we’ll be standing in front of everyone after such a long period away, we’re concentrating more on bringing out a quality album.”
While the agency is still mum on the group’s comeback concept, they’ve confirmed that the girls will be breaking free from the ‘retro’ concept, as seen in “Tell Me”, “So Hot”, and “2 Different Tears”. Reportedly, the Wonder Girls have already completed recording their title track while traveling back and forth between Korea and the U.S.
“The members produced a lot of tracks while they were in the States. Even though they returned to Korea last week, they’re still very focused on their recordings. The title track will be very different from the ‘retro’ concept. We will be revealing a new image to the Wonder Girls,” said the representative.
One of the reasons why JYPE decided to steer away from ‘retro’ lies in how the group’s entire album will be installed in their upcoming U.S. movie, “The Wonder Girls at the Apollo”. The songs selected will not only be suitable for the movie itself, but will also aim to target the U.S. music market.
Although they’ve confirmed their comeback to be in early November, the official date has yet to be finalized, as the girls are still in the process of selecting the album’s remaining songs.
“Since it’s the first album to be released after such a long time, we’re putting a lot of care into each and every song. We will work to bring out a great album and show an awesome image on a perfect stage. We ask for your support.”

JYJ‘s latest solo concert has confirmed their fame in Japan, as they managed to attract more than 80,000 fans over two days!
Concert tickets for ‘JYJ UNFORGETTABLE LIVE CONCERT IN JAPAN 2011‘ sold out as soon as tickets became available, and the server crashed due to a massive influx of visitors. Every seat for the solo concert was sold out, and even standing room sections at the venue was practically brimming over with excited fans.
On October 3rd, thousands of fans flocked to the park to see JYJ perform from cities like Osaka, Sapporo, Tokyo, and more. It’s being reported that all parts of the country got hit with heavy traffic due to the amount of fans driving to the concert. An associate of the concert commented, “We were already surprised because the tickets were sold out, but we were surprised again by JYJ’s fame when the standing sections (which could hold a capacity of thousands) became full.”
JYJ had put on a spectacular show, performing songs from their first Korean album, ‘In Heaven‘, as well other hit songs from their worldwide album, ‘The Beginning‘.
They also had the crowd going wild when they performed OST songs from dramas that JYJ were affiliated with, such as “I Found You” from ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal‘, “Protect You” from ‘Protect the Boss‘, and “You Are So Beautiful” from ‘Scent of a Woman‘.
One 40-year-old fan commented, “I really like JYJ. I’m a housewife so on the day of the ticket site opening, I waited in front of the computer from morning to night, waiting for the site to reboot. I applied through the ticket lottery for front seats; luckily, I was given a good seat. The JYJ members are good-looking and they have a great harmony. They are also funny, which makes them even more popular.”
Another fan, aged 45, admitted, “My daughter and wife love JYJ so inevitably, I ended up liking their music as well. The whole family left the house at 3:00 AM to watch their concert, but we couldn’t get to the front of the standing section. I’m so excited, regardless, because I got to see JYJ’s performance.“.
Touched by the overwhelming show of support, the members expressed, “We are so blessed to see our fans in Japan. We had mixed reviews when it was revealed that our concert would be at a spot that got affected by the earthquake, but we didn’t want to miss the chance of seeing our fans in Japan. On this day, we felt everyone’s love for us and because of that, it gave us courage.”
When the members finished giving their message to their fans, the fans reacted with their tears and started to chant, “It’s okay, JYJ!” JYJ finished the concert with their song, “In Heaven“.
